Children

Children's Moment:  Sunday,  9:45-9:50 am and 11:30-11:35 am (approx.)   Sanctuary

During the worship service, children and youth are invited to join the pastor at the front of the sanctuary. They discuss the scripture lesson in terms that relate to the children's experience and look for ways to add these truths and ideals into their daily lives. After this time of sharing, all church school age students go to their classrooms. Children's Moment has proven to be a benefit because young people get to express themselves and be appreciated in an adult setting.

Sunday School Pageant

According to my hasty calculations, there are 70 days until Christmas.  Yes, I know that we haven’t even celebrated Halloween yet, but you know how fast the days go.

I don’t want you to miss the Sunday School Christmas Pageant this year.  We always have such a good time and have a minimum of rehearsal time.  In fact, the pageant is planned so that children come on the Saturday before (December 8^th) from 10 a.m. until noon.  During that time, we have a walk through, choose costumes and then finish with a dress rehearsal.  There are parts for everyone (one can never have too many shepherds or angels).

This year, we are planning to have our pageant on Sunday, Dec. 9^th at 4:00 followed by a potluck at 5:00.  Be sure and mark your calendars now.  You know how December fills up!
