Come S.O.A.R. with us at our April 8th
breakfast at 8 am.
S.O.A.R. is the “Society of Active
Retirees”.
Did you know that S.O.A.R. members can
take numerous college level classes
right in Farmington? These classes are
taught by retired professors and are
available at the Farmington campus of
Wayne State University. Come and join us
as Trudy Danley presents this
opportunity for learning. All are
welcome. You need not be a member (or
even a man) to attend the Methodist
Men’s monthly breakfast and fellowship.
See you there.
We
will also be starting the planning for
our June 14th
annual charity golf outing. Look in
the upcoming issues of the Gospel Truth
for more details on the golf outing and
our other exciting speakers that we will
feature in the summer months.
Our tentative summer line up of speakers
is:
May 4
– The Oakland County Parks Department
June 1
– We will celebrate with our
congregation’s High School and
College graduates, and their parents.
July 6
– Sherry Young will join us to discuss
her ministry assignments and
achievements.
Aug 3
– Pat Imus and his ASP troops will join
us to share their ASP
memories from this year’s trip.
Some of these are unconfirmed and may
change. Do you know of an interesting
speaker or have a topic that you would
like us to address? Please let us know.

Mark your calendars for the first Sunday of every month to
join and fellowship with us.
